Kristian van Kalmthout

As Digital Health Consultant at KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation, Kristian supports countries and programs to effectively implement innovative digital health solutions to support the fight against TB.

He currently leads the Unitaid ASCENT (Adherence Coalition to End TB) project that will help over 70,000 TB patients in Ethiopia, South-Africa, Ukraine, Philippines and Tanzania to successfully complete their course of treatment through the use of digital adherence technologies and data-driven support interventions, utilizing tools such as smart pill boxes and other innovations.
